Welcome indie authors!

I am here to provide you with comprehensive guidance and support throughout your book-making journey. Consider me your personal book doula, ensuring that your manuscript is published with the quality it truly deserves.

From the initial steps of obtaining an ISBN to the exciting book launch, I’m by your side every step of the way. Rest assured that as I walk with you through the many steps to self-publish your title you’ll always retain 100% of your book royalties.

Whether you envision your book in paperback, hardcover, eBook (epub), or even audiobook format, I've got you covered. Your book will find its place in popular digital marketplaces such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, IndieBound, as well as local bookstores. By the way, if you publish directly with Amazon KDP bookstores will not carry your title, as they see Amazon as a direct competitor. With my years of publishing experience, I effortlessly handle the intricate details of selecting the perfect typography, photography, and illustration, while helping you determine the most suitable publishing platform.

The custom cover and interior design I create for you are thoughtfully crafted to reflect your content and message in an engaging way. Your book cover will be designed to engage readers when they see an image of it online, and your readers will appreciate the thoughtful way the book interior is organized and designed to pull them through the pages of your book. There is a vast amount of information to absorb and comprehend about self-publishing, especially when you are just starting out, which is why I am dedicated to making your publishing journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible. You have my word on that.

But there is more! Once your book is successfully launched, I can assist you in enhancing its presence with a range of services. Website, promotional materials, promo images, bookmarks, and postcards. Whatever you need to help you get the word out about your new book.

I’ve published hundreds of books over the years and the publishing industry is always changing and evolving. Every book project is different as well. So if something comes up and I am unable to answer your question right away, I will always research and find an answer for you.

You can self-publish with confidence. Let's embark on this journey together and make your book dream a reality.

  • Every book is different so there is no one answer. I would say that from first contact to the final book in hand, you can plan on about 1 year, give or take 6 months in either direction.

  • It’s a great question! Well, the easiest way to think about this is whether or not you want to have the opportunity to be in local physical bookstores. When you self-publish with Amazon directly local bookstores will not carry your title.

  • Yes and No. International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is an organized way to assign every published book a special number to identify it throughout the industry. An ISBN is crucial to a successful author’s attempt to sell their book. You can publish your title without an ISBN but the bookstore will not be able to find and order your book easily. If you publish with Amazon directly, they will assign an ISBN, free of charge— however, they will be the ISBN owner and imprint. I recommend you purchase your own ISBN so you —the author— is in complete control.
